ROSC.ai supports over 50 languages, allowing you to record consultations in your patient's native language and export documentation in your preferred language. This feature ensures clear communication while maintaining accurate medical records.

Step-by-Step Instructions

    Start a new recording

    Create a new recording as usual by tapping the record button on your dashboard.

    Select source language from the dropdown

    Before starting the recording, you'll see a language selector. Click on it to choose the language that will be spoken during the consultation.

    Auto-Detection: ROSC can also auto-detect the spoken language, but manually selecting provides better accuracy.

    Record your consultation

    Conduct your consultation in the selected language. ROSC will transcribe the conversation with medical-grade accuracy, capturing terminology and context correctly.

    After processing, select export language

    Once processing is complete, open the note and look for the "Export Language" option. Select your preferred language for the documentation.

    Common workflows:

    • Record in Spanish → Export in English
    • Record in Mandarin → Export in English
    • Record in English → Export in Portuguese

    Generate documentation in your preferred language

    ROSC will translate the medical note while preserving clinical accuracy and terminology. Review the translated note to ensure all details are correctly captured.

Translation Accuracy

While ROSC's translation is highly accurate, always review translated notes carefully, especially for critical medical terms and dosages. Medical terminology can have subtle differences across languages.

Best Practices

  • Set a default export language in Settings if you consistently export to the same language
  • For complex medical terminology, verify translations with a medical translator if needed
  • Use the bilingual mode to see both original and translated text side-by-side
  • Patient handouts can be generated in their native language for better understanding
